How To Support

Michael Vincour's Adopt a Civil War Soldier Program

Are you interested in getting involved?  Here is how you too can help...

  • Contact Michael Vincour at 22 Gaston Street, Easthampton, MA 01027 for a list of known soldiers in need of attention or to report soldiers who are in need.  You may also view our Adopt a Civil War Soldier Roster.
  • Agree on how many times a month to get together to clean headstones at different cemeteries or, if you prefer you can do it alone.  Please contact us so we can record our progress (in case it’s ever needed).
  • In Springtime, visit different stores and nurseries for donations of flowers and other items for the graves.
  • Choose different soldiers to investigate.  Record information such as family history, death location, date of birth, date of death, family members, etc.  This data may be obtained thought libraries, Internet, etc.
This is a new venture.  We are open to your ideas and suggestions!  Please feel free to contact us today!  Remember, we can all make a difference together!
