PINE HILL BURIAL GROUND PRESERVATION PROJECT

We are seeking living lineal descendants of those interred at the PINE HILL BURIAL GROUND.  Pine Hill is located in a field on “the old WILLIAMSON farm” in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.  If you, or someone you know, believe you are related to a person buried at this cemetery, Email us and please let us know. We are currently compiling a list of living lineal descendants of those buried in this cemetery in order to collaborate on how we can get the grounds cleaned, probed and re-inventoried. One relative found his Rounsaville marker 10” beneath the surface so there are probably more markers below the surface.  Official written permission has been rec’d to renovate the Burial Ground.  A candidate for the Eagle Scout Award has offered to take this on as his project.
Directions to the Farm
From Sergeantsville, NJ go West on State 604, turn North on Pine Hill Rd, drive about 1 mile to Pavlica Rd. and turn right. The farm is on the North side of the road and has a long oval shaped lane.  GPS Coordinates of the farm house: 40N 27’ 29”  74W 57’ 44”.
