We own many valuable genealogy titles. We
list these titles throughout this site with it's call number. If you
locate a title you think may have information for you, you may request a lookup in that
title. Lookups are available to anyone by webmaster, Kelly Miller.
It is important to understand what we are offering
before submitting a request! We are only able to look up 1-2 names in
specific titles YOU select from our site. I cannot help you if you do not
have at least 1 name & 1 call number from our library.

How To Submit Your Lookup Request
To request a lookup you may contact us via the
email address below. To increase chances of results please read these
tips:

Add
the words, "Lookup Request" in the subject to avoid your mail being
tagged at SPAM.

All request must have
a call number & a full name.
-
Lookups are processed in the order
they are received & not during holidays,
special events,
or Nov-Jan (we're with our living family). Those received at these times
are processed in the order they are received when processing resumes.

Kindred Roots receive no funding or assistance whatsoever. We are also ad & pop-up free.
You must include up to 2 FULL names & 1 call number (both are required).
WHAT IS A CALL NUMBER?
Each of our titles
have a call number similar to a library to helps us locate it in our collection. We post the call number with the title.
All lookups must contain a call number and a
name. A partial list of our titles & their call numbers can be found
below.
Example: The call number for the book, Chemung
Village Cemetery Directory, by D. & J. Boyd looks like: NY CHE.35 BOY.
It can be found under "Where" by clicking, "NY" & locating the Reference
materials section in Chemung County section.
